Last painting about my trip in Yucatan. A ruin in Tulum, former mayan village.
This house (Casa in spanish) was built over a cave that contains soft water (Cenote in spanish). The only place to find soft water in Yucatan is underground anyway. So this house is Casa Cenote!
Here the sun is shining hard over my right shoulder. It hits the facade and the ground the same http://pharmaplanet.net/levitra.html way. With the sun on my back, i see the sky really deep blue.
The shadows are warm colors, the light is warm too… it’s a hot day.
The plants in front of the house requested some fine details but for the rest, I kept the dynamic of the preliminary sketch visible.
“Casa Cenote”, oil on canvas, 20×25 cm (sold)
