We are here in an area of the Torres Del Paine National Park that was once covered by glaciers. They left caves and strange shapes in the rocks until today.
The sun is shining on a clearing full of dandelion flowers. In front of us is a passage between two rocks, once sculpted in a round shape by the ice running through. The round shape of this “portal” is underlined by the tree shadows.
The toughest part of the job here was to find the light/dark values for this full sunlight and the hues for shadows, from green to purple…
